The 2024 Game Changers Summit is an up-tempo event celebrating the rise of Arizona’s professional sports and entertainment sector. Launched in 2023, AZ Game Changers was Arizona’s first sport-specific business, technology, and innovation summit and will continue to examine trends and opportunities in the sports business world. The event brings executives, academics, entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, athletes, and policy leaders together to examine emerging tech trends in sport, sports performance, and adjacent industries, as well as policy priorities to position the state for economic growth through the business of sports.

Objectives:

• Highlight the intersection between sports, technology, business, economic development, and community in Arizona.
• Showcase Arizona’s capabilities as an international destination for professional sporting mega-events and supporting opportunities. 
• Convene entrepreneurs and investors alongside policymakers and business leaders to establish a pipeline to investment opportunities and the support infrastructure for founders.
• Demonstrate the impact of the sports industry and supporting technology on the state’s economy, higher education, and community engagement.
• Amplify economic benefits, highlight notable leaders, impact community engagement, and bring additional attention to the ecosystem in AZ and what needs to be done to maintain and expand it.
